Time comes near for MR GAY NAMIBIA finals.

The time for the Final event of the first ever MR GAY NAMIBIA is drawing near. The workshop was a very important part in the preparation for the final event. A lot of hard work and effort went into the workshop. The contestants met each other or the very first time and immediately bonds of friendship were formed. As we got to know each other, we realised our purpose and goal for why we were all there. In each his own, we were all there for the same reason yet each as his own individual. Diversity was celebrated as we got to know each other, who we are, where we came from and our various outlooks on life. Strict rules were laid down and followed, advice freely given, support provided, educational information supplied, assistance rendered.
It was hectic but it was fun. It was truly a unique experience and as the weekend came to an end, we realised that we met as strangers and parted as friends. Not only for the contestants but for the organisers and judges as well. We were a group. We were individuals and we were friends.
All I can say is that it was truly a privilege and an honour that I could share that experience.
A very big round of applause and congratulations not only to the contestants for being the first ever in Namibia to attempt and part of this, but also to all the organisers, judges and each and every individual who contributed to the current success of the workshop and the success of the finals this weekend. Good luck to each and every contestant. Remember, we are the one's who started this. We are the ambassadors that everyone will remember and look up to. So be yourself and just have fun. We are all winners. We made it this far. And we can be proud!
